The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has continued to disrupt energy and petrochemical supply chains throughout much of 2026. This has caused further increases in costs across many categories over the past few months, including raw material feedstocks for PET resin, energy, special additives, freight, and other operating expenses.

Despite our continued efforts to mitigate these cost pressures through operational efficiency initiatives and close collaboration with our suppliers, we are unable to fully absorb the cumulative impact of these significant increases.

In the face of this difficult environment, we find it necessary to implement a price adjustment of $0.12/lb on all grades of polyester film effective with shipments on Monday, October 19.

Our objective is to safeguard the sustainability of our operations and our ability to deliver the high standards of quality, service reliability, and innovation that our customers value and expect from Toray Plastics (America).
