Ota joined Toray in 2016 as a Process Control Management Engineer after graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in chemical engineering and a concentration in biology. In 2015, he was a URI chemical engineering intern in the division.

Over the years, Josh has taken on roles of increasing responsibility within the Technical Team, culminating in his recent move to Sales.

“Josh has consistently demonstrated technical expertise and a strong commitment to innovation,” says Gianfranco Chicarella, Sr. Director of Sales & Marketing, Torayfan® Division. “His transition from the Technical Team to Sales is a natural progression, and we’re confident that his analytical skills and customer-focused mindset will bring great value to our team.”
