Due to ongoing inflationary pressures across most cost categories, including freight and storage, energy, labor, packaging materials, and especially in PET feedstocks over the past few months, Toray Plastics (America) is announcing a price increase of $0.18/lb. on all PET film products effective with shipments on or after June 15, 2022.

As you are aware, we at Toray always strive to improve productivity and to reduce internal costs so that such measures can generally be avoided. However, in this highly unusual economic climate, this step has become necessary to allow us to maintain our long-term ability to provide industry-leading technology and product quality while offering the reliable service upon which our customers have come to rely.
